Aircraft Maintenance
Engineering (AME) license examination is conducted by Central
Examination Organisation DGCA, Govt. of India, New Delhi 3
times in a year (Feb, June & Oct.). The Total duration of
the Aircraft Maintenance
Engineering (AME) course is for 3 years, out of which 21/2
years which is phased over five semesters will be at the
Institute, followed by one semester (sixth semester) of
post Institutional Apprenticeship either in Flying Cub,
Airlines or Institute's own aircraft maintenance hangar.
Aeronautical Engineering
A.M.Ae.S.I (Associate Membership
of Aeronautical Society of India) is at par with
B.E. (Bachelor of Engineering)
/ B.Tech
(Bachelor of Technology) in Aeronautical Engineering.
The Examination is conducted twice a
year commencing usually in the month of June and
December. Each Semester consists of 6 months.
