Eligibility |
| |

The minimum qualification for
admission to the course is a pass in 10+2 Science,
Pre-Degree / Intermediate or equivalent in Science with
aggregate of 50% marks in Physics and
Mathematics OR
-
Diploma / Degree in related branch of
Engineering with 50% marks or G.C.E (A) Sr. Cambridge /
East Africa School Certificate (A) or equivalent with
eligibility to pursue a degree course in an Indian
University.

- The applicant's age at the time of admission should
not be less than 17 years.

Medical Standards |
- All candidates should be medically fit with normal
vision ( 6/6) and no colour blindness.

| Pailan Aviation Institute (PAI), Kolkata imparts training to the students in the Mechanical Stream. |

In order to comprehensively understand the basic operational concepts, functionality, trouble shorting, fault isolation & regular maintenance & monitoring technique of the airframes, engines & avionics sections of aircraft, the course is divided into Six Semesters. The first five Semesters comprises of theory & practical sessions while the Sixth Semester is thoroughly dedicated for obtaining hands on experience on the a/c structures, its engines or avionics systems.
